Don't be late!

I spent lots of time with the 2009 Farmer's Almanac before deciding when to schedule the ceremony. We wanted to get married outdoors at sunset--New Mexico has the most amazing sunsets. The Organ Mountains, which will be visible from the ceremony site (to the east), are also beautiful at that time of day.

So, the Farmer's Almanac says the sun will set around 8:18. This site says 8:17. After sunset, we'll still have some twilight to work with (about an hour and 45 mins). That'll help as guests are moving to the reception area. But still 17 mins for the ceremony? I wanted it to be quick, but what was I thinking?! Needless to say, WE HAVE TO START RIGHT AT 8:00! So, in all due respect to our wonderful guests, DON'T BE LATE! Either you'll miss everything or we'll be kissing in the dark!

And now, I know the lyrics say "fishin' in the dark"
but let's replace that with kissin', shall we?
